Bless those who see life through a different window, and those who understand their view.
Heritage Christian School offers a program to meet the needs of students who have average to above average intelligence and have been identified with specific learning disabilities. The Discovery Program provides academic support and Educational Therapy in a one-on-one setting for students in grades 3-12 who meet school enrollment criteria and have been formally diagnosed with such learning disorders such as ADHD (ADD), Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and other auditory and/or visual processing deficits. The Discovery Program is accredited by the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) as a Program of Excellence.
For younger students in grades K-2 that may be a risk for learning disabilities and/or learning to read, Heritage Christian School offers an early intervention program known as SEARCH & TEACH©.
SEARCH is an individual test given to kindergarten students to identify individual strengths and weaknesses in reading skills necessary for reading success. TEACH is a one-on-one student education intervention program developed to address the needs revealed by SEARCH.
